Special Operations will be hosting another trench technician class. This class will be held around the first part of November. To date, approximately 60 additional USAR personnel have been certified at the technician level for trench rescue. This greatly enhances the regional dispatch capability of Maryland Task Force One to these types of incidents.
Member Availability
USAR members are reminded that they are responsible for keeping their availability up to date. During the rostering phase of a deployment, the availability site is the primary method for personnel selection for the mission. Managers may not have the time to add a member's list to the list of available personnel. Any questions or issues should be directed to Lt. Larry Lofland.
